I store crates in them so my storage house doesn't look like a cargo bay (well the containers are not taht beautiful but it's better than 50 crates of brandy/knives/clamps laying on the floor

And if youhave one container (or tower) for each item it makes it really stylish looking.

I say trash 'em. If you want to beautify your house, go buy some of the cool-looking "wearable containers" (backpacks) off the bazaar and organize them along the walls of your house. I have about twenty of them along the wall in one room of my house with names such as "deeds", "resources", "rifles", "spices", etc. you get the picture.

Now it WOULD be cool if you could re-lock them, possibly with a number code, so they show up as a "RE-locked container" that could be sliced for NO XP.(That would avoid one guy slicing the same container open over and over again to master the slicing tree.)

That would be really cool. I like the idea of having locked containers in my house, or slicing relocked ones that people forgot the code to, lol.

I use the backpacks also in the manner above, but have a container on the floor with a rancor light stand on it, looks kinda cool.

That's what I do, looks really nice.

Like the re-locking idea.

Containers make WONDERFUL tools for organization of your supplies, and storage.

ALSO you can BUILD things with them, like a fishtank, or other odd house hold items. Think of them like legos and use your imagination. I, unfortunately, had to unnecessarily delete all mine. I'd love to have them back!
