Due to the recent debacle over the broken* Force Ranking System, a member of Bria documented an account of an obvious system exploit. The result has been, by those involved in the exploit, to say that it is not an exploit until the Devs rule otherwise and, as such, any moral rebuke they recieve from the rest of the community is irrelevant. And even if it was declared as an exploit... who cares? Morality is irrelevant in video games.
Read this in the light of our own community's view on pup-slicing, trade security, and other issues.
* For those of you who don't know:The current incarnation of the FRS allows one Jedi to letanother Jedi, regardless of faction, kill him/her for FRS XP. The Jedi who "wins" can then let the other Jedi DB them for FRS XP, and there is a net gain in XP for each. The result has become groups of Jedi killing each other purposely to level in the system.

I read through the first 2 pages of that post and thought it was utterly ridiculous. I can't believe there were people arguing FOR this kind of quasi-exploit. To me, that is akin to a pitcher letting baserunners steal all they way around the horn to score. The pitcher's not exactly doing anything wrong or breaking any rules, but you have to question the ethics.
