Thread: Sliced weapon pricing?

I am considering buying in bulk from a Weaponsmith and slicing crates of weapons and putting them up for sale on a sliced weapon vendor. I was wondering if anyone out there is doing this and if they have any pricing metrics/advice they want to share. Thanks in advance.

there are numerous post about pricing. I saw a couple of people on Kettemoore slicing at 10k per slice, the lowesti've seen rescently has been for about5kper item...

I think what he wants is to know what to charge for the weapons after he slices 'em. I haven't done it, but if I were looking into it, I would start by looking at what the weaponsmiths are charging for sliced weapons. And of course you' re going to have to charge more the better the slice, some slices you'll probably lose money on. I believe several weaponsmiths will just delete the low end slices or place them on a discount vendor. You'll need to be able to have a vendor and should get Merchant Advertising III so you can list your vendor on the map. Otherwise you'll become a much hated spammer and I can't support that decision one bit.

Pricing would be determined by the (BASE price + the % slice to Speed or Dmg). The main thing I've noticed with this, is that you really have to do some advertising to make any $$.
