Thread: Did they git rid of the Molecular clamp?? (New Smuggler)

I paid 15K for 25 and I use one. Then, after the first one I cant use the rest.
/bug
I get an e mail stating that the "so and so" (guys name who made the clamps) are no longer apart of the game, they should not be in your inventory.
So do I get my 15K back??
Are Molecular clamps gone??

mole clamps are not gone, sound like you just got a random bug. sorry to hear, send in a CSR ticket and mebbe they can do something

The guy must have named his schematic after himself ... there is a bug in the game that sometimes renders a factory crate ... well...busted.
Some say that moveing the crate to and from other containers will fix it, but it never worked for me.

What server are you on? I can give you some cash (or even Clamps for that matter

15k? ouch. I'm on Starsider, supposed to be the most expensive, and most vie ever paid, when I was desperate enough, was 7k. Had a great supplier that had them for less than 5, but they quit merchant ahead of the merchant nerf

You paid 15k for a crate of items that cost next to nothing to make?? Are you mad? Check the bazaar next time

I found a great shop in one of the player cities outside of C-net on Starsider that sells crates of UKs for 3k each, and crates of Clamps for 5k each.
I stocked up, then made sure I had the place waypointed for future purchases...

Wow, cheap clamps. Cheapest price I've seen on Radiant is 8k a Crate most are sold for 12k-15k.

This has happened to me with purchased clamps from folks that I did not know. I have discovered in both cases the player had left the game. But I am not sure if that has any impact. With my own clamps it has never happened.

to makea crate of clamps you need 2250 non-ferrous metal, not counting the 90 to make a schematic. Unless you harvest your own metals, it's very hard to find resources for less than 3 cpu, so that's 6750 for materials. Plus factory maintenance, factory energy it probably easily costs over 7k to make a crate of clamps. Bazaar caps at 6k if I recall correctly...

I am on the BRIA server (THE REAL EXPENSIVE SERVER) as GoldenKensai.
I checked the bazaar terminal and there was only 1 on it throughout the Galaxy.

Yah, I'm on Starsider too, and I found a vendor that was selling em for 1.5k a crate of 25, I bought his whole inventory of 9 crates. I already went through em and went back to see if he had more but he hasn't made and restocked his vendor. The cheapest I have found them besides this vendor was for about 5k a crate.

i sell them on bazzar anywhere from 3k to 6k depending what kind of mood im in. If you ask me I would be more then happy to give them away. One time i was spamming cnet that i was giving away crates of clamps and knives no one trusted me so no one took them. I just wanted to clean up the inventory.
