Thread: Looks like more multiplayer ships are going into JTL...

I wonder whats going in maybe a YT-2400? Oh and here are pic's of the Yacht which also kicks some bottom. If it was between the Yacht and the YT-1300 Im just going to use the Yacht....

Go to www.lucasarts.com and take a look. Looks like the mp ships will be the Lambda and the Corellian Corvette...might be wrong but that's how it appears.

Well...reading today's Friday Feature, and all of the associated aftermath, along with the responses from TH, all I can say about our Veteran "Reward" is...
What a way to wastevaluable Dev resources.
I'm sure they meant well...
But...come ON!
NO upgrades + NO combat = NO FUN!
Combine that with the fact that you can only have one multiplayer ship decorated at a time, and you can see that the Lady Luck is going to be moth-balled fairly early on.
Given the choice of a fancy looking, but useless, vessel...or a somewhat weathered, but highly useful craft...I think I'll go with the YT-1300.

Theres one use for it that I'm scheming, but I'm not quite sure it will work given the info we have, and I don't wanna blab about it here in an open place.
Lets just say there might be a use for an invulnerable ship, even if it can't be upgraded and can't enter combat. For a few folks at least.

Nope. I'm thinking more of an SL type setup... but I don't know if its possible to fly this ship where it would be most useful.

I think the Yacht was very well done and an excellent idea. So what if it is not upgradeable? Its not a combat ship so does not need to be upgraded. Some people might want to hang out in space and see the sights without having to worry about getting blown to bits by everyone.
It is an incredible roleplay tool they are offering us. Want to live in space? Hold a secret meeting in orbit of Endor? Besides, no one is going to be flying YT-1300's on or near the launch day so how else are you suppose to go into space with a group of people on one ship?
Sure it would be nice if you could decorate more then one mutliplayer ship at a time. The technology is not there. That does not make this pointless and a waste of the devs time. Just because you do not like it does not mean it sucks and is worthless. Some people are just never happy.

eh, what better ship to smuggler stuff in than an invulnerable ship? Could be worse...could be vulnerable. I think I will be focusing on B-Wing and the veteran reward now ... since I can't fly any other multi-player ship after I decorate the Lady Luck.

If I had to guess, I'd say yt-2400, and maybe a cygnus ship, but then, I thought Gran was going to be the second species.

The Yacht looks cool to me. I don't see myself deletin' it or anything. Haven't decided which I will decorate though 'cause there seems to be a S-load more ships about to come out as well. Don't know if they are part of some future release or if they are in the beta- but when I log onto the beta tomorrow I will know I guess...
