Thread: Feigning Death Bug?
1) Log out for at least 30 minutes.
2) Wait till after a server reset.
3) Try getting killed (DB and all).
4) Try getting killed by another player (DB and all).
5) Contact a CSR.

Reports are that if you get LD while FD, you can't FD until you die. I've heard logging out for any period of time does not work, you gotta die.

The problem is, Jedi will use FD when a Bounty Hunter shows up and then disconnect from the game. Going LD while FD will cause this to happen. The only way to clear this state is the get Death Blowed.
Hopefully you can do this with a group a friends where you wont have to use your saber or force powers. Just duel a buddy, have him DB you, and have a doc around to rez you. This could allow you to clear this state without loosing any Jedi experience, while also not generating any visibility.

This may work. Just hope it's not cloning that clears it up. I don't think so, though.

Oh, and on the db issue... if you are a faction member, take a mission, run to it and let them win, insuring and cloning first, of course. A factional death is an inconcequential one. Dont know if this helps the Jedi, but I dont care, either.

I experienced the same thing. I roleplayed an incapped muon abuser in coronet and feigned there for a while. I had fun watching the newbies scratching their head w.t.f. I am doing here... :-)
My toon continued to "roleplay" while I was shopping for the weekend and, as expected, when I came back I was disconnected from the galaxy. From that point on feign death didn't work for me anymore. Today I got tripple incapped by a tusken and cloned. I then tested feign death in a friendly duel and indeed, i feigned as usual.
With my restored powers I went to dathomir to take some agressive negotiations with my rifle and some sisters. I did pretty well, but when I needed FD the most, it failed me again. I saw the feign icon next to my name, but still got deathblown. Well, maybe I used it too late (I took heavy beating). In any case I will test a bit more with lesser NPCs. (against PC it did work as stated above)
Bottomline:

Cloning after you are bugged restores your feign abilites.
(need to test a bit more if really e v e r y issue is resolved by that)
