was there a stealth change to slicing? i've sliced 3 complete sets of wookie armor today and all 12 pieces were encumberance and all above 28%. weird

I had a run a few weeks ago where I sliced 13 pieces of armor in a row for Encumb.

The irony was, the first 9 were for a Doctor. He didn't appear to care...but honestly, why would a Doc want Encumb slices? I would've much rather gotten 9 Effect slices for him...if for no other reason than my own peace of mind.

The very next guy in line got the first 4 Encumb slices...then I hit him with a nice 13% Effect...after that, the next 4 were a mixture of low Effect and mediocre Encumb slices...

I was impressed with my string of 13 Encumb slices though. My buddy, who I was chatting with on Yahoo at the time was like "Damn Drev, you wanna make sure he can wear that without buffs?"

At one point I sliced a whole set of comp armor, the first three pieces were above 40, and the rest all above or equal to 35. It has never happened again.

To quote Spider-Man in a Family Guy episode

Several months ago I was slicing like 45 suits of armor for an Armorsmith and at one point I started getting tons of Effectiveness slices. At one point, on 10 of the sets (90 pieces) the Effectiveness slices started going nuts. I think on those 90 pieces I had well over 70% of the slices for effectiveness,including a streak of 12 or 13, and several streaks of 9 or 10. I write all my slices down, but I'd have to go back and find it.

But even with that, all my totals to date still work out to 50% encumb, 50% effectiveness.

Couple days ago on a suit of comp I got 7 out of 9 encumbrance slices....all over 30%, one hit for 45%. Customer was very happy since he was TK.

Before that I got 2 33% and 1 34% damage sliced on Nym enhanced VK's making them 220 and 222.
