I have some thoughts on how to slice this but I am no expert in damage output and what works in game and what doesnt.. like crit slices may or may not work depending on who you talk to. But this is my rifle

Heavy Lightning Rifle

2.46 Speed

461-1127 Damage

Elemental 40

Accuracy Bonus 63

SAC 82

Now this is unpupped and my modified speed is 1.56 I have +25 to rifle speed, +25 rifle accuracy and +25 to general ranged accuracy tapes. How would you suggest I slice this weapon. I bought it based up on the low speed and the 63 accuracy bonus.

10% critical, if you spam head and advanced crit the time cap is 1.7 already, so you wont need speed, the damage is only like 20 points from cap, so dont bother with that, get a 10% crit slice and use a dmg or SAC powerup,

Thanks for the response! I had heard critical strike was still bugged but I have heard some say its not and working now. I was thinking either 10% critical and using the sac pup or;

2% speed, 2% damage and 5% crit strike. Was wanting to bring the attack speed under 1.7 a bit so when I used a dmage powerup I wouldnt go above 1.7 attack speed. I think this would give me 1149 max dmage and 470 min ( heard min is what is used against master defenders, could be a myth ) and around 2.41 base attack speed. With a good damage pup i could get almost 1300 max damage with 1.7 on my modified speed.

Actually with that gun I'd probably go with a T3 speed and T1 critical. Though if your mod speed were lower, I would have said all critical. You'll probably want to use a SAC powerup on that gun so you can keep tagging specials more often... so you'll need the speed slice on this one. You might even want to go full speed, but I'm a true believer in the critical chances.

Yes, the critical slice does work now, and work well it does. The critical slice just adds a XX% chance for a critical to happen on EVERY attack, not just the ones that have a critical chance built in.
