They are listed under Misc. I usually just search for them by name, using the first 4 or 5 letters of the first word. Simples search for simp, etc. You probably won't see many of the higher tools on the bazaar since most people love to price gouge... so you might try the "vendor location" search as well. That will search all vendors on your server, helps to find things a TON easier.

Misc/Generic Item.

Searching by name will only yield crafted items, so I don't know how on earth you'd find loot items that way.

LIES. I use it all the time and find them just fine. Just because SOE says it's only for crafted items doesn't mean it's true. You're a smuggler, you should know that by now...

OK, I'll take your word on it (especially since your argument is indeed a convincing one). Perhaps the times I've tried, there simply wasn't anything of what I searched for.

There's a trick to it, only use the first few letters.If you don't, it may not turn up. If you type out more than the first word, you have to have the punctuation EXACTLY how it's spelled on theitem or it won't show.

Say for instance Shock Absorbent Paddings... when I search for them I only use "shock" in my search. It will turn up the paddings and bags full of shock trooper armor in the search. There's still usualy less than a full page on that search, even on Bria. SAP's are just plain rare unless you had a TON of AUK's stashed away.
