I'd like to extend my thanks for a completely frustrating and ruined game experience today. After spending months waiting for berserker rifle stabalizers to be fixed, countless hours loot hunting (acquiring gorax shards, the stabalizer, and a legendary spider fang) I finally got my gun made and SPEED sliced.
As you know, speed slices, particularly on a gun with +180 dmg enhancements are completely useless, and utterly disappointing. Thank you for ruining my game experience.
Who ever thought it was a good idea to make slicing random is sadomasochistic andhas no appreciation for satisfiedcustomers. There is no possible way for you (soe staff)to make up for the sheer amount of time and effort that I put into this gun simply to have it ruined in the blink of an eye... well short of replacing the legendary spider fang and stabalizer in my inventory or resetting the gun to unsliced.
Thank you again. You will not be getting a christmas card from me this year unless you do one of the 2 things above.

Heh, I'm a broke dude. After having to buy 3-4 stun helms waiting for an encumbrance slice (which never came), I decided that I needed an effectiveness slice anyways.... Who knew one helmet would be such a pain in the rump. Each helm costs 100k.
Nothing in comparison to such a beautifully crafted gun as yours, but still.

There is the problem of leet looting in the game sadly sliceing has become its counterbalance. I am not sure this is a bad thing. If we always got the slices we wanted there would be abolutely no downside to sliceing.
Hopefully speed caps will be fixed in the game, and it becomes more a win win situation.

Exactly, your very nice berserker rifle will be something very very nice after the Combat Upgrade.

Man, eff off. Slicing isn't necessary. It would have been a fine gun without it.
Besides, it's just a game. Granted, it is a game you pay $14 or whatever, each month. But still.

Well...you got one slice that pissed you off. As smugglers we get hundreds of slices that piss us off.
Personally, if I had a gun like that AND I knew as you did the 50% chance of getting a speed slice or a really low damage slice, I'd have just left the gun unsliced until the infamous Smuggler Revamp. Who knows when hell freezes over they might let us choose the slice!
Oh, and what makes you think they have a staff member in charge of smuggling? Couldn't tell by all they've DONE for us over the last year.

I didn't know slicing ruined guns. And here I thought it improved them, at least somewhat, even if you don't get exactly what you want from it.

But seriously tho, if it's such an amazing gun, it's still not worthless. It's still an amazing gun. Just because you finally got screwed by the slicing gods doesn't mean others haven't. It's something the Devs are aware of. they're going to do something to Slicing, but who knows what. And when it comes down to it, it's just agave.

Look out the window. There's a place out there known as "outside". If you live up north, there's probably a lot of white stuff on the ground under a blue sky...that's called snow. If you're more southern, there's actually green stuff on the ground...it's called grass.
Get up from you computer, walk out the door, and experience some of this for yourself.
And lastly...
Get.

And (I'm not flaming you here,) if you spent as many hours as we have been wishing we could actually smuggler, you'd understand.
Guess we're on opposite sides of the fence. What I usually tell people when I get a crappy slice (Speed on nice weapons, etc) is that it's still improved, it's not as if I lowered the damage, or made the gun slower. It's better no matter if it's 11% speed or 35% damage.
I do respect your profession, and I respect that I'd be totally pissed too if it were me. But please don't come in here and act as if your profession is borked for you now because you got a bad slice on a weapon. Any slice is a better slice, and Rifleman is one of the least-broken combat professions in this entire game.
