I sliced two full suits. Just about every time I got an 8% increase in effectiveness, give or take.

However, when I looked at the stats on the armor, I noticed nothing had changed.

Exactly what increased by 8%?

Logged in today and armor's displaying the sliced stats. Thanks, everyone!

Some people in Armorsmith forum report the stats will be properly set after dropping the armor / respective a few hours after slicing. So guess the slicing works fine but the wrong numbers are shown for a period of time.

I remember the first time I sliced 6%. I was at a wepshop, buying pistol by pistol, same serial. 6% dam, either 19 or 22% speed. Same dps for the 6% dam and 22% speed. After a while, I decided that slicing was screwed somehow and stopped draining my bank account.

Sounds like either the server needs to be refreshed, your computer needs to be refreshed, or something. Try /flushG fullReset and see what happens. This should refresh your screen. Also try hopping a shuttle (only with a very understanding customer), disconnect/reconnect.

Might be better to not charge by percent, but for each slice since this "revolution" of slicing. Yes, it's nice to bring the weapon or whatever to the best it can be. However, why use the best resources when one can slice a crappy gun to something outstanding?

Any one else try to slice clone armor? Guildie of mine bio-linked his, and I couldn't get the damned radial for slicing. Don't know if it's the bio-link or the clone armor. Suspect bio-link.

I thought quality of crafting components didn't make a difference? Read that in the FAQ.

Aye the bug does go away after a few hours. So the slice still takes affect. It just doesnt show for a while. I've doen this with about 20 suits now. So it's just a reporting error that goes away after a few hours. (Though I'm not sure if this applies if the item is still in your inventory or not.)
