Thread: What to charge for smuggling/slicing

Hey, just got back into the smuggling business, not that I was ever away from it, but I only sliced stuff for guildies, now that I'm lookin to get some money, what's the regular rate peeps are charging for smuggler slices. I am on Bria, if that helps...

hehe duck and cover man. people are mighty picky about these questions.


Check your servers trade forums, and see what people are selling the slice components for. Once you have that, figure it in with a tidy profit and you'll have your price.

I'm not too sure about the prices on Bria... Everytime I'm on the server seems to be down! (kidding) But seriously, I'm not sure if there's a "set price"... Most smugglers, I think, sell for around 120 cpfp. If you can get a base rate lower than that, then the rest is profit!

For weapons slices, I've seen anywhere from 125k to 250k per weapon. I personally charge about 150k per weapon for the popular combos. If somebody is dirt poor and still wants a slice, I'll offer the T2 speed + T2 damage for 60k. I also have MBH so I can resupply myself with the ICB's and DTA's, but I don't think I'll keep it if we ever get real smuggling content.


Armor slices... think BIG. If somebody wants an armor slice, they better be packing some serious credits if they want slices from me. Most of the time they want the armor break slice, and the shock paddings have went from high priced to non-existant here lately on Bria. I base my prices on what I can buy replacement paddings for, but it seems like most of my suppliers have dried up. Until I find another supplier, I've quit doing those slices unless somebody offers and ungodly amount of credits. I'm not going to burn my last 29 shock paddings for a measly 1 mil either. I think my next suit of armor I'm only going to slice 25% AB so I don't have to use any paddings. I don't really jump into pvp much, so I don't really see the need for the 75% AB like I have on my current suit.
