Realy scary crimelords and Imperial tyrants - They actually remeber you and come after you. Probably not.
Sub space or atmospheric flight - At least a cut scene sequence. If the Jedi ask for it.
Multiple hangers - Mos Eisly has a starport remember Not likely.
City apartments - just a good idea. Even less likely
Spoken words - bubble talk gets old. VoIP? or canned dialog? No.
Visals for wounds - limp or something If the Jedi ask for it.
Duel pistols - adds charicter to a charicter Two years, maybe one depending on subscription numbers.
New charicter customization ideas - hair styles, more physical mods, facial hair. Most likely before Smuggler ever gets any attention
Hair growth - you need to get a hair cut at least once evey 2 weeks. Too much immersion for this game
Tatoos - I got em why can't my charicter? Play a Zabrak.
More ship paintoptions - lux yacht is looking pretty weak. I think Tomo probably has bigger fish to fry.
Snow - Preferably on Hoth Falling snow? Unlikely, rain seems to happen on a global basis, which doesn't work for snow, except on Hoth, which you're never going to see unless they 1. fix the GCW, 2. release Hoth as a GCW battleifeld, 3. Incorporate vehicular combat, 4, move the timeline forward.
These are all really great ideas for the most part.
However something that keeps tickling me at the back of my mind is that we are now over two years into this game, and we've had a lot of "revamps" or improvements, etc.
How much longer are they even going to keep this game around with the numbers that it's drawing in at this time, much less the amount of people it's retaining?
I keep getting a sneaking suspicion that if we don't have a huge draw into the game when the timed release of ToOW comes out with the DVD release of Ep. III then may be that it doesn't bode to well for the future of the game.
With no smuggler revamp for over two years now here, I'm even considering completely jumping ship when Pirates of the Caribbean Online comes out if the graphics and gameplay are even half of what SWG looks/plays like.
which is a damn shame because everyone it seems is on the same wave lentgh as to what they wanna see in the game. Personaly as long as i get to smuggle thats gonna be damn cool and i will forgive all past misgreivences but as the days turn into weeks and soon the weeks into months once again we have heard nothing new about smuggling. Maybe once the new expansion hits we will start getting info.
To be honest i am really starting to loose hope and i was so hopeful when the put the in con up on the web site. I can see us getting the same run around as the previous times and i had enough of this game last time. SOE damn well better deliver on the goods, they need to do something to reassure everyone that they listen and want to improve the game and i think dealing with us smugglers is the first step towards rebuilding community relations
