Thread: OK, OK Lets calm down a second!
- Have Tiggs come here and answer Wes's questions again. But this time perfectly clear without trying not to say anything
- Send the Dev who is assigned to the revamp come here, explain what he's going for and start a discussion about it.
This whole "community->correspondent->Tiggs->... and back" way of communication is slow, produces misunderstandings, does not help the Dev's develop and is not giving us players the feeling that what we say goes to some place that is not /dev/null.
I believe the situation is as such because most see this as undeniable proof of their worst fears - that a "Content" profession (akin to Bounty Hunter and Jedi) will be stripped clean in November and December, and reduced to that of the poor state of the Entertainment profession (and quite possibly Doctors).
Plus, please keep in mind that alot of these arguments have been going on since Beta 3 - and this appears to be the stage in which most smugglers (myself included) feel they ultimately have lost - both in the proposed revamp and the upcoming expansion.
So, essentially this is one last push in a hope against everything to save the profession as a whole - and make wearing a Master Smuggler tag mean something again.

Like the last two years - I'd much rather them prove their committment to this game rather then they just drone on about what they might do.

I agree that action of the devs would be preferred, but the "revamp" they thought about should never happen in the way the are going for so some discussion might help.
Of course this is based on them being honest in those threads and not full of ****...
