Well I can tell you what I charge and that is 10k per lvl if they have the tools.

So a lvl 4 damage slice would cost em 40k and a full set of Armour slice would cost em 3 lvlx 10k for each slicex 7 peices of armour= 210k

The customer is paying for my skill as a master, the time it took me to grind up to that and my time in doing the slice. a lvl 3 slice on a full set of armour takes from about 20 mins to half an hour.

I check the bazzar every day to see what price each component is going for, I take a rough average, then send an email to myself with the prices in. If the customer doesn't have the components I'll charge em the going rate plus5k for my time in going and getting them to replace the ones I'm using in the slice.

I think it's a fare system and I have an email that I send customers who ask for a slice with all the details in it about slicing, how to find and buy their own componets using vendor search and what they can expect from a slice.

So far I've not had any complaints about these prices from anyoen Ive sliced for.

The prices of slicing vary from server to server.

There are two main questions:

  1. How much do you have to pay for the components? (look at the vendors/bazaar or can youaquire them differetly?)
  2. How much do you consider your time is worth? (the time you need to apply the slice and the time it takes to talk to the customer about what's best for him/her)

Often after the answer to the first question is out people start rounding to the next number fr their profit. Don't go below what it costs you, don't let people tell you you are too expensive, just keep an eye on component prices and decide what your work is worth. If people find someone else who's cheaper for some reason that's bad luck, usually they come back to smugglers that give them good advise and a fair pricing (and I don't mean the cheapest pricing). People like to know that you know your trade, give them that feeling and your prices will be fine.
