Comon guys, we need slicing ship components. I mean think about it! A smuggler needs a really good ship, and how will he do that? By slicing their components or their chassis! Another idea is a safe smuggler trade system- in otherwords, so that we cant rip people off by stealing their weapons.

Also it would be cool if we could slice lightsabers. I really want it (and i know im not alone) so that we can slice space components. Well, thats it.

Slicing Ship componets would be a cool thing, Han had stated that he "Modified" the Falcon.

Stealingweapons (or anything)from another players is, well lame. We're smugglers NOT thiefs!!

And as for Slicing light sabers... well.... Hokie religions and ancient weapons are no match for
a good blaster by your side kid!

I'd really like to see some sort of space-based slicing, but it's difficult to work that within the (relative) balance that currently exists in space. I think there's still plenty of room for such work in POBs, though, and that they'd be much more appropriate in terms of sliceability. I was sad to see that fail to make it from that one In Concept thread to live.

No stealing, it prevents from stealing. And since the results are no longer random it could actually be balanced now.

Slicing ship parts. *sigh* somewhere in the Pilots/Smuggler Forum (I think it is a crosspost)is an old post of mine about skills and programs from Smugglers in space. Such as a program to enhance the booster output, a mine thrower and a Return to Sender system for missles...

Slicing lightsabers... I am torn between just slapping any jedu around taht will spam me with requests and silly questions and the opportunity to charge them 10 times...

I wouldn't mind an ID style slicing window, it would actually make things easier IMO. That being said... I still want smuggler missions first.

Trade Window: we are CRIMINALS. for decent immersion, a customer should feel a little bit of risk when he/she uses our services...that said, one of the things that get's me customers is my reputation. Steralize the game with a secured slicing window, and the value of my reputation goes down the drain...

Slicing Ship Components: love this idea, but doubt it will ever happen...not even on my top ten...

Slicing glow bats: it's so very wrong in so many ways, yet I start to think of the profits for my suddenly incredibly expensive weapon slice components (dude, you know those BH's, you wouldn't beleive what they charge me for this stuff....) not to mention the increase in my customer base...and the money...and the criminal in me has to say HECK YA! Not to mention that there are a *couple* of really cool jedi pc's out there who actually deserve a little slicing love....and the money...
