Although i do not know how the visibility system would work, id really like to be able to get involved with a smuggling business, and have a bh come after me or somthing! you see, they want to keep it like the movies, so i think sense smugglers can have a huge mark on there head, like han solo did, why in the heck isnt it enabled in swg! that really ruins a bounty hunting experience, and it would maybe even get the bh's to lay off the jedi a little. maybe the way a smuggler would gain vis is to give them missions that they have to do, and maybe if they would get cought doing them, by npc's or random people, then it would give them some visibilty, smugglers dont really live up to there role, there rogue's, dangerious, and pretty much low. if they got cought doing somthing, how is that so bad? so they gain a little vis, not enough to get them on the terms..like someone could think a master dancer for jabba was all innocent, yet she is doing dirty deeds for him, secretly, assassinating people, and she would def have to keep it on the dl, because its not good to have a mark on your head. from my prospective anybody should be aloud to be put on the terms if they are getting in the illegal business's in swg, (valerian, nyms, jabba) lets get detailed here people, this game has been out for over 2 years now, lets start fixing this system.

While I like the idea of added content and engaging in smuggling and Bounty Hunters, I have one reservation.

The current system is built for Bounty Hunters to fight Jedi. Jedi are "designed" to be the toughest profession. If BHs are built to fight them, then they are pretty tough.

So what chance does a Smuggler have against a BH?

Smugglers are not designed to "beat" BHs by killing them. We are crowd control and evasion. If smuggler bounties are implemented, they should fail the mission if they can't get the smuggler in a set amount of time. Smugglers shouldn't have to kill the BH, just keep from getting killed.

Definitely agree with the timer thing. I do have one point to make though:

If there is going to be a set timer for the BH's to hunt us, I think it should only go down when the Smuggler is online (so smugglers don't just escape a BH and log). Although I do think the timer should continue to go down, regardless of whether the BH is online or not (so a BH doesn't take a mark and then just log for the day, effectively extending the timer for the Smuggler).

And about the vis thing, maybe if we are slicing something or we make a transaction involving spice with someone not in our group, or with someone that is in our group but with other people around (we all know how the Jedi vis system works...instead of Sabers and Robes it would be Spices and Slices).

There really is a relatively simple solution to this, using the underworld faction systemt the devs seem to be suggestion. When you suceed in a smuggling mission, you should get posative faction. When you fail, you get negative. When your fasction dips below zero, you go on the BH terminals. When it goes above zero, you get off the terminals. Add in an option to purchase faction from an underworld NPC (i.e. buying faction from a recruiter) and you would have the further option of "buying" yourself outof trouble.

Think how much fun it would be to try to accomplish a smuggling mission to get back o the positive side of underworld faction while spending the whole time looking over your shoulder for the BH coming after you...
