Thread: Smuggler content and jedi stress

I dont know if someone has said this yet but this idea is straight out of Star Wars episode 4. Obi Wan needs to get off Tatooine and get to Alderaan. He then talks to Han Solo and secures a ship.You should know this very well by having seen the movie more times than you can remember. Smugglers have been wanting to smuggle since launch and jedi should be rare and enemies of the empire. The idea is that if jedi want to travel to another planet there will be risks. If a jedi tries to travel to another planet withouttraveling with a smuggler there is a chance that instead of loading into the destination planet's starport you load into space where 5 or so tier 5 tie fighters will be scanning for contraband and or being an enemy of the empire. Something challenging for an ace pilot but not impossible. Where astravelingwith a smuggler negates that chance or reduces the risk. Would be fun for non smugglers to have some space content and smugglers would be getting many tells "hey I need to get to Dantooine" with the reply "sure that will be 50k". I dont see a problem with this at all. If the space inspection part has to be instanced that could be very possible programed. Im sure jedi will hate this idea as it will make things harder for them to get around but this game needs to be more challenging and require more grouping. It should not be just hey I want to go grind pikets on Dantooine and I am in my house on Naboo let me just run to Theed and go straight to MO. But once again my idea will not be implemented but some lame smuggler missions with npc and no player bounties on smugglers cause that would be fun.
