Thread: Slicing containers using clamps...isn't working.

Maybe I'm just doing something wrong, I am a novice Smuggler, I have only sliced 5 containers in my entire smuggling career, and very slowly. However, the last 2 times I've tried to use molecular clamps on a container it said it was used, and the number on my crate went down, but I failed to slice the container, rendering it worthless. What am I doing wrong? I chose the "use molecular clamp on container" option, then I went ahead and cut both wires, is this the right thing to do? Please help me out.

Read the text it changes after you apply the clamp, and tells you what wire to cut first.

Yes. Make sure you are cuting the correct wire. A molecular clamp doesn't guarantee success unless you actually take into account the reading it gives.
