And stop slicing randomly upon request. I've changed my title from smuggler to businessman and no longer slice other than the weapons I buy myself and put on my vendor. It's quite lucrative fwiw. And it would pay even more if we all did the same thing. Since we're not getting any sort of a fix till pigs fly over the frozen lakes of hell, we might as well make a sliced weapon/armorworth a WHOLE LOT of money, more than the weapon/armor itself is worth unsliced.

With this method smuggler might not be worth anything, but at least we'll make a lot of money. After all, arent' smugglers suppose to be low down, dirty scoundrels that would do anything for the right price.

Doctors are making a killing for something that lasts 3 hours. Our sliced guns and armor gives a significant battle bonus for the duration of the weapon/armor. How many people run around with an unsliced weapon? Pretty much nobody. Then it's high time we start charging for our services, especially since so many smugglers have thrown in the towel after the news of the revamp delay.

Time to start charging through the nose. We may not be able to smuggle, sell spice, be effective in battle or anything else but at least we can corner the market on the quality of weapons and armor on each server.

If we're going to wait around for people to show up with their weapons and armor to be sliced, at least charge 10K or more minimum. Better yet, buy unsliced weapons and put them on your vendor for whatever price you think is fair, or unfair if you're one of those slimey smugger types.

b) For some reason, whenever I try to change from 'novice smuggler' to something else, it doesn't work, or resets. It is becoming annoying. I'm getting slicing requests I don't want yet, lol, and I'm only halfway up slicing 4. Just need to set aside an hour to grind that last bit

Sound like you are bugged. I can change to any other profession other than 'no title' and when i log out and back on it remains. If I use 'no title' I log back in as master smuggler.

I've also gone to control O, or is it P? Anyway, I set my AFK to say I'm not slicing
