Ok guys and gals,
I got a question for you. Has anyone else noticed that spd slices seem to be far more common than dmg slices on weapons? And encumberance slices more common than base slices for armour?
Let me explain...
I've been a master smuggler since before xmas. Not as long as some, but long enough to have sliced ALOT of weapons, especially as I slice for a couple of weaponsmiths.
Now in my experience, of which over the last week I have been sad enough to actually work out, I get on average 1 dmg slice in 4. The rest are spd. Also, exceptionally high level weapons (like a very nice krayt geno I sliced) seem to have an even greater chance of getting spd.
This annoys me grately, but not as much as my customer, particularly WS who consider these weapons a waste of money.
My theory is that this is the devs way of sneakily controlling the amount of super weapons that are out there. Probably wrong, but it just seems to conincidental. Especially as we have NO control over slice what so ever (although I still try and use tools that are +90% out of superstition!)
What are your thoughts? Anyone else noticed this?

In my oppinion there are certain weapons what are often used by masters, and often get speed slices, the FWG5, Geno's, T21's, Scythes's and acklay stun batons. Also it would seem that 60%+ base comp more often get encumb slices while lower level comp 60%- get effect slices,

My experience over thousands of slices has been 50/50.
I've literally had to beg for a speed slice for a few days till I got one.
It balances out.

It depends on weapon or armor type imo. I buy weapons and get armor in crates. Ubese is more likely to give a base slice, comp gives encumbrance more often than not....etc. It's not a drastic difference, but significant enough to observe imo.
