Since slicing is the only thing that the majority of the player base wants from smugglers. I suggest we refuse to do it for anyone but ourselves until we get some love. Think about it... its a 30% damage nerf to most professions out there. If we are not the only ones complaining maybe they might reconsider doing something before 2005.

It's a very good idea, and I would support you in it...but. Only 1 in 10 of us read the forums. We'd have to find a way to get to the other 90% of the scum out there.

Make the game more stable and playable, then go through and swing the nerf bat. - hopnasty

Please read the posts about Fan Fest before you decide to post something like this...and furthermore, would that not be hurting YOU more than anything else? I'm sorry, but I am simply not willing to lose millions of credits when I know they aren't going to touch our profession until after JtL launches. The other professions don't change our stuff, the devs do, and they have their hands tied with Space. I'd much rather they finish all this Jedi nonsense, the GCW, combat, and JtL, and then give their undivided attention to us. If you'd like to be b!tched in with the other revamps coming up, start that thread.

This is a nonsensical bunch of hullabaloo that will never have any pull with the dev team.

I am Jack's Smirking Revenge. I am Jack's Ignored Profession.
Theed was a bustling commerce city...people hawked their wares, danced, laughed, dueled, and had a rollicking good time. Cantinas packed with Entertainers of every race, shape and size...along with scoundrels, Stormtroopers, and drunks. People grouped up and stuck together in the wilderness, and you ALWAYS took a Scout or a Ranger with you. We lived our own Star Wars saga. We created our own personas, our own histories, and it all blended into this wonderful, magical experience that I will always remember...

That magic is gone now, but I'd pay 50 bucks a month to have it back.

Editor's Note: The author of the above post has quit giving SOE her money. She suggests you do the same, because this game will never be what you want it to be.
