it is possible, im just not sure how to do it, but i've had it done before

As far as know it was possible and has been fixed. And even if it still works: Doubleslicing AND using double sliced equipment are considered exploiting.

Someone in Ahazi is claiming they saw someone do it right in front of them just recently....Personally, I think it's BS, I mean, how do you see someone do something like that? Anyway, the real reason I'm posting, how do you tell if something is doublesliced? I have only been buying non-sliced items lately, so I could get some slicing xp from them, now that I'm up the tree, I probably won't care so much. So is there any way to tell, aside from trying to do the math to see if a weapon like that could really be that speed and damage?

The only way to tell if the stats are screwed way beyond reason.

From past threads on this topic, I believe the following to be true:
-- Double-slicing is a "ban-able" offense.
-- You can NOT do it accidentally, so don't worry if you are honest
-- You will NOT see a description of how to do it in these forums, at least not for long if it shows up
-- Early in the release itinvolved the use of power-ups, but this supposedly was fixed
-- I think like the poster above said, the only way to know if a weapon has been double-sliced (or more) is to see that it has ungodly stats.

This is an exploit and I believe that a significant number of accounts have been banned for doing it. I would recommend not even discussing this on the forums or in-game. These types of exploits gave really unbalance the game and should be avoided at all costs.

Bazoo, I strongly disagree for one reason: If a new smuggler is approached by someone evil and is told how to do this, they need to know NOT to do it.The only reason I knew about it was because of these forums... and I HAVE been approached to do it. However, I do NOT think the method should be described here in these forums, but only the fact that it is ban-able.

I have heard of triple slicing. Don't know if it's true. The famous triple sliced lightsabre.

Some items are legendary, which gives them ungodly stats. But it shows on the weapon examine screen.

I agree with Wayne - we need to know if there is something going on out there that could get us banned. Most of us use common sense, but to a newbie smuggler, maybe they won't think about the legality or illegality of doing something if prompted by someone else.

Remember how we were all up in arms about the multislice thing and how we thought that perhaps we could be doing it and not even be aware?

Case in point. People need to know, and this is the best place to find out.

I thought that double slicing was fixed also, however I still get asked by morons to try and double slice their weps. I just put them on ignore when asked that
