Thread: Does slicing an imperial mission terminal give you more FP?
But yes, you get more money and more faction on the mission target itself.
The NPC's still yield same amount of FP, but the base gives twice as much most of the time.
Unsliced missions I get about 45-60 faction, with sliced ones they average 89-101.
So again, Yes - Slicing terminals gives more Faction.

Seeing as how smugglers are supposed to interact with their surroundings and take jobs on the fly, you'd think they could slice terminals for those who need the extra cash. Kind of dumb, eh?
Technically speaking, FP reward = X% of your mission payout. So, a sliced mission will result in a higher FP reward.
However, as someone pointed out, a Smuggler can only slice the terminals for him / herself. It would be a nice feature if we were able to slice terms for a group...but that's just on my personal wishlist, and not likely to happen any time soon, given the fact that we aren't going to get anything new until after JtL...
I run missions solo from a player base, in a player city on Lok. The mision sliced pay 10k-13k and I usualy get about 120-130 faction out of them just for destroying the flag. I can get almost 400 FP per every 2 mission (including killing the npc). I haven't bothered to look and see what they pay not sliced....
p.s. these are about lvl 32-37 mission and I can run them in about 20 minutes with docbuffs/brandy and no help from pets.
