We're fixers right? well, how can we make business deals when there's already a trade forum to do just that?
what if, for a limited category of items, we were the go-to guys/gals, like, they aren't allowed on the trade forums, you have to go to a smuggler, and he has access to an in-game trading system where he can find someone wanting to sell the item.
Wow, I'm really reaching lately. Maybe it's a tumor or something...

That kinda goes along with an idea that ran through my head one day.
Blackmarket vendors:
Placed by smugglers
Only illegal items can be listed, ie. sliced items. (and change regular vendors and the bazzarno illegal items, no sliced items can be listed)
Have to talk to underworld people incitiesto find the blackmarket vendor that would list any registered blackmarket vendor. meaning the smuggler would have to go tell them about the vendor to register.
I did consider a downside too:
Vendors can be "raided" loosing all items on the vendor.
If the vendor is registered, based on where, can have a better chance at being raided.
The higher the smuggler, the better the chance of NOT being raided.
Buyers, within a certain timeframe, would then be on an Imperial hot list.
Just a thought... didn't last long.

HAHA! So I'm not the only crazy one! 
I dunno, As much as I want to smuggle (and boy do I want to smuggle), I also want to do more with my underworld connections...

actually the true totally insane idea is to be a smuggler 
to add something on your not so insane idea, i would like the auction chat tab ingame be truely moderated and letting only fixers talk inside, and non-fixers have read only rights so that they could reach the fixer they are interested in doing business with by a tell.
That would be a way to make this tab useful.

My other wild hair is that this profession should have been Rogue/Scoundrel with a smuggling tree, the other 3 trees could have been something like Thug, Dealer and Fixer....
But, I think I was drunk when I came up with that....

Why not make that the 4th tree? Drunk. skill boxes? Happy, Funny, Belligerent, Angry. title? Drunk.
