Thread: Breaking Mezzes.....

I seem to have a big problem breaking mezzes.. I have ranged shot on auto and use specials, but how do i not break the mez? should I not have the auto fire on? Peace doesn't seem to work quick enough, any suggestions?

considering that we don't have a true mez at this point, I'm really curious as to how you got one in order to break it.

I mean like concussion shot supposed to be on a timer unless you "hit" the mob again isn't that correct?

That's what the description says, but that isn't how it plays now. Currently, it is a 40 second root and you can pound them mercilessly while they can't move. They can heal and fire ranged weapons, but have to stay in the same place.


The future "fix" (depending on perspective) means that they won't be able to do anything, but that the mez will 'break' when they take damage. That means, shoot something once and they're frozen. Shoot them a second time and they come alive again.

most likely the best solution to prevent the breaking of a Mezz would be to turn off your auto-attack and either fight manually, or create some simple combo macros.

This would be my recommendation. I never use autoattack...does more harm then good with the new system.
