Thread: How much do YOU charge for your FP?

Just a query really.

To my guildies, i sell my FP at cost price, which i calculated to be 67 credits per FP (factoring in the cost to points delegated ratio)

For bulk FP, above about 10k, u charge around 80 CPU

For all others (or if i dont like the attitude of the customer) 100CPU or more.

Generally, when ppl ask, "hey, how much for XXX FP?" and i reply with the amount they say, "oh" or "I dont have that kind of money" OR as most of you Smugglers have probably heard before "well, my smuggler friend im ny guild sells them for only xx CPU" to which my standard reply is "ok" or "well, go see him then :-/"

With the above being the usual responce i get, do you think I'm charging too much?

bear in mind however, when i got a request for 30k FP at 80 CPU (about 2.6 mill or around there), the customer immediately snapped up my offer and met me instantly with cash in his hand. Did i charge too little for that much?

who knows. just a query.

I charge 150 creds per fp on the advice of N'Joh...it COSTS me fp to donate! It gets eaten up fast!

And I have to agree...if they don't like what you're charging...they can bloody well go elsewhere. You're a busy smuggler with weapons to clean, factories to check up on, Twi'leks to ogle, and a perfectly legitimate business to run, see?

hmm, nice price. i may have to start charging on an 'Ad-hoc' basis me thinks

Any thoughts on what will happen to our 'slicing contracts' that we have with our local WS/AS? when the slicing revamp hits us? if we have to loot components to slice.. i guess those lucrative bulk orders will come to a halt

Most of my slicing orders come from my friends who know I mastered smuggler because they were there when I was running around waving my newly-equippable Renegade yelling :"I MASTERED SMUGGLER!! I MASTERED SMUGGLER!!" or those who picked it from my RPs on my galaxy's forum.

In other words I dont' get a LOT of that business

But for the most part I charge for slicing "Whatever you think is fair"...and have gotten some very nice tips for it! My policy for pricing was the same for mind buffs, too.

Don't forget to make sure you AND your delegatee are both inspired! And buy your faction at a base where they're outnumbered, you get more for your money.

I doubt this is an issue for rich smugglers...but I never lay out my own credits for faction for a faction buy. Credits first, I buy, then I delegate.

If they do implement the slicing changes (impossible-to-get loot for fabslices)...my uber customers can bloody well get the components themselves. I'm kinda fond of this skin I'm in.

ROFL!!

Yeah, i've started to think about doing the 'tip what you think is fair' as a lot of customers tip xx amount before i've asked them for the usual 5k, often the tip is 8-10 per slice.

I always get inspired before i buy the FP, but I had no idea that the customer should be inspired also?? How does this affect the delegate?
