Thread: Suggestions for Concussion shot

At first i was kinda upset they were changing it (fixing it) but then i got to thinking, and i think it'll be much better fixed. But i would like to see some things added to it.;
1-i'd like it to clear hate list when applied, for pve. That was the next person to hit the mob will be on the top of the mobs hate list. Helps in groups, in daoc the bards had a spell that did that. Saved alot of healers.
2- i'd also would like (hope) the visual effect will be different, as to not to confuse teammates. They might think the mob is rooted and fire on it, thus breaking the "mez".
i think that's it... any thoughts?

Well, my guess, is that as long as they do a similar job to showing when your target has been rooted and when it wears off(Seeing +ROOTED+ when its applied and -ROOTED- when it goes away, red rings around the rooted MOb/player), I'm guessing we'll see something along the lines of +DAZED+ and -DAZED-, as well as some sort of particle effect around thier head showing that they can't think straight enough at the moment to attack, heal, et cetera. I'm not saying they will deffinately do that, but it seems logical with how the post-CURB game works.

In not a smuggler no more but, I got a idea for Concussion Shot..
Ok, so all no pretty much how it works now and how its supost to work..How about have it +Mez+ totally freezes everything (the way its supost to work) apon taking a dmg hit it allows them to heal/fight but, they remain in a +root+ state for 10secs..Providing that theres 10secs left on the CS Timer..
This would give a smuggler a option to run, heal up, fight or all 3...The cooldown would need looked at and adjusted..

Umm... Actualy, I think this is how it's supposed to work. Apparently the daze only breaks on damage, not the root... But I may be talking out of my ass, that's just what I read. /shrug

The whole effect (daze and root) breaks upon taking damage.

They are not sperate effects, it is all tied up in the same effect, if one breaks you lose the entire effect.
