Thread: Question in regards to Smuggler Skills

Being new to Smuggler (and SWG, really) I was just wondering if there's a particular reason as to why 3 of the 4 trees are governed by Pistol Weapons Experience, and the 4th by Combat Experience. Dirty Fighting I can understand, and sort of Underworld, but I'm at a loss as to why the Slicing skill is related to Pistol Exp, or why Dilinquency is related to Combat Exp. I don't understand why I seem to have stats for Slicing Experience and Spice Crafting, but no where on any of my Smuggler trees seems to use them

The branches all have specials in them that are related to our pre-req pistol.

mhm... i dont think so.. funny thing with the CU is.. or was, that you can use every ranged special, with every ranged weapon. I guess more likely they choose Pistol because Han Solo had one.. and to get the XP requirements more in line with the other Combat Professions.

So Spice Crafting and Slicing exp is pretty muchuseless, then?

they still turn into force xp
