Hi,

Does anyone know exactly what reckless should be doing these days?

The damage is increased, but not sure about the 2ndary effects. basic reckless

sounds like the user gets a double penalty of some sort. Now I do see

the reckless icon on me with a defense debuff. The upper level versions

seem to imply there is suppose to be a debuff on your target. what gives?

Does the damage get increased too?

Reckless - Used as a last resort this ability unleashes a large barrage of shots

at the target. This attack will place you in a very vulernable position

and causes a defensive penalty to the attacker.

Improved Reckless - This enhancement to the Reckless Shot ability has an

increased defensive penalty placed on the target.

Adv Reckless - This enhancement to the Reckless Shot ability has an

increased defensive penalty placed on the target.

To me, I'm seeing the first definition as Adv Reckless. I'm not seeing any debuff

icon placed on the targets, just me. With all the smuggler commands getting looked

at cause they are broken, I'm wondering if its the shot or the text of them. One doesn't

match.

Reckless shot is supposed to make the attacker more vulnerable to retaliation shots. I believe that improved and advanced definitions are typo's.

Kinda makes sense... If im attacking recklessly, then Im not worrying about defense and would leave myself open to incoming attacks.

not so sure about this.. i'm using advanced and i never get a debuff icon...

I get the debuff icon when I use the shot.

Yeah, Advanced Reckless should do like a -80 to melee and ranged defense for a few seconds after each use. It's our highest-damage special, though.

yeah, the damage output really needs to be increased.

Which isn't much. The damage 'reward' really isn't comparable to the defense debuff 'risk'. Grab novice carbineer and your basic leg shot does more damage than advanced reckless shot :/

I'm just a master smuggler, so it's better than anything else I've got. I use it as my main attack in most situations.
