43% encumberance slice on my composite leggins and a 39% effectiveness on my gloves? Thought the cap was 35%? Either that or I have gotten good in my old age.

The cap on weapons is 35%

On armor, the cap is 40% on effectivness and 45% on encumberances.

actually effectiveness is capped at 35%.

Master Smuggler:


  • Weapon: 15-35% Damage or Speed

  • Armor: 11-35% Effectiveness

  • Armor: 20-45% Encumbrance

Yup. Probably got it mixed up with an Encumbrance slice. Not cracking on ya but it's possible. I've done it more than once. And it's the only possible explaination since nothing effects slicing.

ive done it only once with a CDEF pistol right before i sliced my first DE-10, i just about strangled myself
