Thread: A Rebels Greatest Enemy.... apparently.

Okay, just had to recount this one. I was giving a the friendly neighborhood rp ST's some guff in Eisley cantina as I healed some krayt-inflicted wounds. just the usual, /hiss, /poundchest, etc. I threw in a /shout Long live the Rebellion! which I like to do from time to time, took my usual 30k credit penalty. then all of a sudden, the planetary record keeper npc out back, burst runs in, nails me with a mind incap, then runs back out. Even the rp Stormie was shocked. One of the crazier things to happen to me in this game.

Back a month or two ago when the CorSec used to hate my guts, I was sitting around the Coronet cantina minding my own business, working off some battle fatigue from Sith hunting with a buddy. I was up to something that was occupying my attention--crafting some ship armor or the like, maybe just talking with Dreven and Max and whoever was in SIN that day--because before I even know what's going on, a CorSec patrolman sprints through the door, points a gun my way, and incaps me before I've had time to stand up.
He stands there a second and I'm lying there sighing and thinking about armor decay when he just turns on his heel and strolls back out of the cantina.. at which point I was laughing way too hard to feel any embarrassment about being dropped so fast in front of an audience of thirty or so--and with my master smuggler tag up, no less.
A friendly medic gave me a heal, I made some joke about police brutality, then I sat back down and got back to whatever it is I'd been doing before being brought to justice. Still one of the funnier things that's ever happened to me, one I wish were a larger part of this game.

go ahead and /slap some high ranking imp officials and see what happens...

I did that back in JtLS beta with a character, just for the hell of it. I set a macro and bound it to my keyboard to shout that every time I pressed 2 on the keypad. I managed to get to 750000 credits indebted to the Empire before my client crashed.

That's nothing, I once set a /lick macro and targeted a stormie. I managed to get 1 mil in debt before they stopped adding to what I owed.

I was a colonel last time TC-Bria was up. Colonel in the Empire. I had a Dark Trooper, and I wanted to show off to my friends, so I slapped the trooper. It turns around to me and says that I have brain damage.
The Imperial troops have no respect for their superiors.

It's the nerds in the back that you always have to watch out for.
