Thread: Damn it Feels good to be a Gangsta

So I'm grinding out pilot atm, have been spending a great deal of time in space andI've not had to deal with the new scan changes until the other night. I hit my next lvl in pilot and desided to get some new ship parts so I went vendor shopping and got pulled off my AV by a ton of ST's. My first thought is "damn my AV is out, Im a colonel I have spice, sliced armor and a full complment of sliced weapons. Im getting turned overt, getting killed and losing my AV". There was no where to go, no place to run and my AV was uber faraway, so let them scan me fearing the worst. A few sec's go by and the "You have successfully evaded the scan" text flashs up on my screen. I immediately shout "damn right b*tches and dont wast my time again", re-call my AV and take off. All I could think about was the song Damn it feels good to be a Gansta by the Getto Boyz.

I get scanned all the time and have yet to fail.
Even my dancer/tkm gets scanned with a pack full of sliced VKs and armor and has never failed.

Last time I got scanned it was because I didn't hear the guy trying to stop me and I kept running. They turned me overt and we went to blows. That was BEFORE the changes so naturally- I dished out several plates of mama's specialty: asswhuppin' pie.
After the changes, I thought it would be funny to smack the ST in the black and yellow in the head with my scythe. His friends didn't like it and they pumped me full of hot laser before I could hit my FD button. Next thing I know I'm in the cloning center shaking off a serious beat down.

It's times liket his I wish there was a Rebel Crackdown Squad because being an Imperial Colonel, Master Smuggler I know I will never ever be caught - hardly any fun in that.
The only fun I get with these squads is on Yavin 4 - when the probot comes up and scans me - I just shoot at the nearest mob and the probe droid springs into action to attack as well, it gets hit, and then sit back and watch the fun with the Lamda Shuttle racingin to dropreinforcements. Ahhh, the fun.

Yeah, it is one of the more annoying quotes(and I get yours too
), but it felt appropriate, 'cause after all, it is Monday.
