I'm going to be pursuing smuggling for underworld and slicing tree and maybe even feign death.

Does obtaining the master smuggler status give you any bonuses to the aforementioned trees or anything worth getting at all?

yes.. masters have a 5% higher slice range as well as some underworld perks (faction item costs & scan evasion i think)

if your in it for slicing or underworld, then yes.

if not, then you have to examine your own attitude and play styles. deep down, you're eaither a smuggler, or you aren't. we've taken a lot of abuse, but the die hards never go anywhere

I think it is worth it, but then again I wear the title with pride, do public slices, and try to RP it some with my customers -- at least those creative enough to play along.

Actually you just named the two reasons to GET master smuggler. You get a 5% bump to your high/low cap on slicing and a greater discount when purchasing faction goods.

It's all up to you. Really, only those who are loyal to the profession or really want to be Smugglers will have the paitence and see the worth of mastering the profession.

I love being a Smuggler. While we can't do much, I'd never even think about dropping it.

Kind of depends on what you want out of smuggling...

If you want to smuggle then...well, ummm...
