slices at master can go up to 35% ( damage/effect) where as at 0400 they can only reach 30% (damage/effect)

My new standard answer:
LIES!! They're all lies! You'll get the best slices that anyone has ever seen at slicing 3!! Stay there! Don't advance! And make sure you charge at least 1.7 million per slice! You'll make a fortune and have customers banging down your door!

thanks for the help...i get so little time to play that i would much rather read and read and read than play the game.
i took the time to post on here to get some help and this is what i get.
A Clowns
I may just start slicing for 300 cr just to cover materals.and make sure to hang out and offer this all the time.

Ohhhh! THIS is the 'help' you wanted...sorry, it's still early here.
But seriously...All you had to do was open the FAQ stickie at the top and scroll down one page and it's there. You wouldn't have had to "read and read and read" like you thought. In fact you'd have had to read LESS than the time it took to start and read the replies on this thread.
Nothing affects slicing and masters get a 5% increase to max slice.
You might though want to look at the CU documentation to figure out what specials you want and in what branches they are going to be in.

Lets face it folks with the CU coming and the sawwweeeeeet new combat mods and smuggler abilities we are going to be faced with a lot of dabblers picking up speed, accuracy or just specials.
We should all just be prepared for that sort of nonsense
/sigh
hey look on the bright side
we'll have combat mods

Stock answer:
Want to Master smuggler? Then i'll help in any way i can.
Want to dabble for the best bits? Then read the stickies, use the Character Builders and get out of my face. And for the record, my alt will be taking two lines of Smuggler - dabbling ain't evil. Not reading the stickies before you post arsewitted questions is.
