Thread: New Smuggler Tools

I remember reading a while back that Smuggler's tools would become 1 unti with a large number of uses in the coming Smuggler update. I wonder if that will render the cases of various tools I'm sitting on useless or if they will be converted. And if so I can't help but wonder what will be converted? Will each case of clamps, knives and upgrades be converted to a full Smuggler tool set? One can only wonder...

You know I already don't like you (and it's not just because you have "911" at the end of your name). Why don't you simply wait and see, instead of spamming the boards with your "what ifs?".
My advice: be patient, do less talking and more slicing or simply drop smug for something like else.

I know what you could do: Use up all the tools before the update, and then buy new ones after the update!

Wow, cause your tools you have right now are so expensive, huh?
Honestly, I can't see this as an issue at all, why don't we wait until after our revamp comes, or at least more specified docs come out.

That's what I thought too...except for the banning part! 
I'm not sure if that was sarcasm from MOD123...because there was the smiley tongue....
I'm hoping so...cause this kind of post in unacceptable around here.

i have gotten banned twice, once for jumpin on a guy and callin him a dumb arse, and the second for bad mouthing devs after a smuggler nerf they gave us. 1 more and i am perma banned so i have been a good toon.
and for the noobs jumpin this guy, it is a valid question? what happens to our existing stuff? doe sit just become a museum relic or do they get converted, i am on the brink of running out of stuff and have been reluctant to fully stock up again. knowing it is all gonna change.

Oh, it wasn't all that much really, I'm sure I've posted worse too. Just couldn't stop myself from posting in that SOE Letter thread on friday and called out the exec on the "players were asking us to intentionally break timeline more then we already have" line

For this reason I am already running far less tools off in my factory. However as I dont need to buy my own if im left with a few cases its not to bad. To answer some of the ruder writers here , yes if a smuggler buys his tools from a vender the price can soon add up.
