The answer is most likely in the Stickies up top, but since I'm feeling the Smuggler Love tonight, here goes:

Get yourself a Food and Chemical Crafting Tool, not a General One. Proceed with your Pixie ingredients to the nearest Food and Chemical Crafting Station. Engage Food and Chemical Crafting Tool while standing next to Food and Chemical Crafting Station. Proceed as normal until you reach the post assembly stage. You will get a box that asks you whether you'd like to "Experiment" (or maybe not, I think they finally removed this since we've never been able to experiment on spices", "Create Prototype" or "Create Manufacturing Schematic". Choose option C and the tool will create a schematic in your datapad. Get yourself a Food/Chemical Factory. Load it up with the same ingredients you used to make the Pixie in the first place, and start cranking out the spice.

well thanks for the lesson. I know how to do all of that, it just said to use a Generic crafting tool not a food and chem craft tool

you need a Food and chemical crafting STATION, and a Food crafting kit...its red, and looks somewhat like a gas can, and or a small generator...(IMO)

Thanks for the help, lol it's not my first time, I know what everything is and what it looks like, I just was wondering why it tells me to use a GENERIC craft tool if your supposed to use a food craft tool, I made the schem and all is well tho it took me longer than the avg noob to finally figure it out. I have been smuggler since I have started this game in dec 03 but it has been a looong time since I made spice
