I am using my token respec to spec out of merchant and into smuggler. (mainly for fp buying and to better serve my customers).
I read all of the stickies and I was a smuggler waaaay back in the day (first couple months after launch) but did not see this question addressed.
My question is can I delegate faction points to someone that is not online? I don't wish to delegate to an alt or anything but was wondering if I could sell a token item on my vendor (that represented fp that I would transfer when I came online.). If I can not delegate to someone who is no online can I delegate faction when they are in space, in another city, planet, etc... I try to be interactive as possible with my customers but working full time and full time school are not a recipe for lengthy play time hours (=.
All responses are appreciated, even flames. (hey at least flames are not silence (= ).

i'm pretty sure the person you want to give faction to has to be on line and close to you.

You have to be with the person. You also have to be overt to delegate faction points.
And you must charge them through the nose for your services. That's the Smuggler's Law.
Well....it's more of a guideline, really. ![]()

You certainly can't create a 'token item' that represents X-number of faction points, put it on your vendor and then claim it when you log on with your alt later. Not only would that be cool, it would be far too useful for us to ever be implemented.

thanks for the responses guys.
My idea of a token item would be once you bought my survival knife properly named for the amount of faction you wanted I would delegate to the peeps once I logged on. Unfortunately this will not be possible.
As far as charging through the nose I was going to charge 110 cpu for my customers and 120 cpu for non-customers.
