I don't know if this is in here or not but the patern to converting is that the last Item in the crate can be salvaged to become a new component. I have gotten several simple toolkits and a few finly crafted ones this way. plus some of the other armor upgrades.
Does anyone know what a power motivator does?

I think it motivates power... but I could be mistaken.
Sometimes power gets lazy, and it needs a little motivation to get back to work.

Sorta like Angus, so you could say that's experience talking. (His boss calls it a 'cattle prod' but y'knowa rose by any other name, yadda yadda)

Good thing about cubicle walls, they hide the fact that I'm screwing around on the forums instead of working.

lol...those damn lazy motivators.
Poweredmotivators are a high lvl component for armor slicing. Check the Pub19 slicing walkthrough/faq for specifics.

So... Does this mean that if I split all my crates into Crates of single items... I can the get them to convert right?
Please say yes...

Yeah but they block the IR transmissons so no LAN gaming here.
It's always something.

Fast way to convert crated AUKs and WUKs: Split into 24 and 1. The crate with 1 is your salvageable item; delete the 24 item crate and salvage the other. Continue.
Might be obvious to some of you, but it took me a few crates to realise that there was an easier way.
And, out of about 50 crates, I got 35 or so simple toolkits and 15 or so nice components.
