Thread: Pricing after publish 19?
I say let them hunt-down/loot the kits for the slices they want. Let them bring them along with whatever they want sliced with it. NO HUNTING, NO LOOTING, and NO EXTRA $$$ or TIME involved gathering the required components just to be able to do or jobs.
And by the way, why are smugglers the only NON-JEDI profession that requires looted components to be able to do there jobs anyhow? I mean, Who thought that on up? It sure-as-heck WASN't a smuggler!![]()
Hehe... I swindled my way into sellingillegal core boostersfor 2 million each, delicate triggers for 4 million credits each (I had 3), and even magically swindled a 7% speed slice and 2% damage slice for 1 million credits (twice). I guess I just have a way with people. /shrug
Tell me, am I that evil to want a buck in return for this crappy system that doesn't even go over caps?!?
I haven't actually been slicing, but I have been selling the kits (I spent hours securing temp storage and uncrating many, many kits before the patch). I've been selling the Simple Kits for 20k each, and the Finely Crafted Kits for 100k each. Business has been brisk but not extreme, so I'm thinking that I priced it just about right. Hopefully that'll serve as a useful datapoint for pricing the slices.
Possibly the fix for crated pre-patch kits will slow downmy rate of sales because the new kits will be more common, but we'll see.
Well that does get me a starting point. I went to one of the supposed loot points, the black sun tier 4 ships, and shot them down. I figured after I shot down 5 ships with none of the smuggler compnents I needed, that i t was a waste of my time. I mean, if I had gotten even one component, even a simple tool kit, I might have thought it was worth it. But jeeze, guess we'll see.
Thanks!
