Is it me or is it off somewhat? a lvl 2 dmg slice of 4% on a gun with 896 max should add ruffly 35 to max dmg.... but it only added 20 to max..... any ideas?

I heard that slicing makes weapons go above the caps.

Could be that the 4% is cumulative, so it only added 2% from the previous slice.

There is another post saying that the slices no longer go above the cap.

Makes sense also.

post heres the post saying slicing doesn't go above cap any more...

still would be same number 4% of 100% is still the same as 2% of 100% + 2% of 100%

2% of 896 = 17.92

I had a Level 2 damge slice done for total of 4 %

should have given 35.84 and rounded off to either 35 or 36.

still ony got 20 out of it.

Sounds like the math coding is off

and no it did not hit cap. only got to 916. Cap for an FWG5 is 948

Wrong. Yours is undoubtedly a Featherweight FWG5. I am talking about a regular FWG5

On the subject of slicing over the dmg cap i was unable to dmg slice a gorax enhanced Intimidator pistol at all getting a message the gun was already over dmg cap
