I was planning on leaving ever since the "longer term expansion" fiasco. The lies and deception that have continued to rain on the smugglercommunity (and many others) is pathetic. I can not, in good conscious, continue to give money to people like this. I don't invest in dishonest companies and I loudly take my business else where. On-line gaming is no different. I am SO outta here.
This "expansion" confirmed my decision. Encouraging more j3di punks in a game that has too many j3di already is one of the worst decisions they could have made for this game. This is now KOTOR On-line -- they're even bringing back KOTOR characters. Yuck. Besides, is one planet, a 4000 year-old droid, a dead Jedi, and 50 quests really an expansion? I don't think so. It is a rip-off.
I was hooked on this game when I was driving a lane-speeder across Tatooine. It was Star Wars! Now it is just disappointing. I think my Star Wars experience will be limited to watching the original trillogy. I'm not sure what this game is, but it is not Star Wars. It is a joke. I thought that I might come back after taking a break, but this new pile of crap they're calling an expansion has pretty much assured that I won't be returning.
My fellow smugglers, it has been a pleasure. For all of you who are staying, I wish you luck. I think that all non-j3di and non-BH professions will continue to be ignored and neglected. I hope for your sake that I am wrong, but I'm leaving, so that should say something.

This is EXACTLY how I feel about my relationship with this game.
This game has been basically a shody relationship, but I stuck it through for two years giving it a whole lot of time and a whole lot of patience.
If I were a woman that had a husband who had a cheating problem, then this expansion is the equivalent of him announcing to me that he is opening a strip bar.
Lucas Arts producers, you have lost several customers, including myself, because this game is sincerely the biggest mockery of the genre I have EVER seen. I am also pissed off that non-Jedi don't really have a place in GCW PvP that doesn't include them as the doormat for the vastly overpopulous Jedi players. How in the HELL can you have a GCW war that is fought primarily by Jedi? It goes BEYOND reasonable allowances to the Jedi class. Don't Jedi belong hunting other Jedi and high-ranking enemy officers? Give Jedi a FRS that canabilizes bounty hunter player mission code so that Jedi can get busy doing their job and so that non-Jedi can get busy fighting their GCW without being completely displaced from it. If Jedi players want to "pwn" other players in the GCW, they can do it on their alts.
Why give Jedi players EVERYTHING in the game, while giving so little to non-Jedi players... or worse taking things away from non-Jedi and giving them to the Jedi players?

hope you find what your missing here mate. This expansion will be the death bell for SWG as its not only driving players away on droves but many players till staying will not purchase it (like myself). If your not a jedi theres no reason to buy this expansion, hell theres not even a new space sector which proves how flimsy this expansion is. Tha lava lightsaber ? thats something a designer knocked up while they were bored, HK 47? a mere after thought.
