Point 1 The developers havn't listened to our feedback after two years, what makes you think they are going to start now.
Point 2 They almost never come read any discussions here, unless its a non-game related subject where they can post cutesey little bits of fluff that mean nothing, or they can crush our hopes and dreams in some way.

Click the link in my sig to respond to a thread I started in another section. It's been proved over time that the devs don't really pay attention to non-stickies in the profession forums, so I'm trying to bring it up in a forum that will provide more visibility.

Well i changed my second profession tonight to another, if it goes ok i might consider dumping MS and going for something else,
however if the Crimelord Profession ever comes into existance that could be quite promising. I guess lastnight i was a little disheartened,
now i've had time to read through other threads i see it will be no different to hitting my head against the wall, timewasting.

From my understanding the point of the Smuggler template is to be able to sell faction points to people in the game, faction points you would purchase from a
faction npc and then sell on at a cost to any player you see fit.
My problem is mainly how are we supposed to do this if farming of faction points is continued to be allowed in the game. Faction farming ruins the gaming experience for all Smugglers, and the only way a Smuggler can compete with these prices is to farm faction him/herself.
The point is though i dont believe that farming faction points was the original intention of the developers, i believe the intention was for Smugglers to purchase faction points from the npc's.
Selling faction is a major part of the game for Smugglers and is one route of their income,if you select two combat professions like i have i basically have to forget
this part of my template completely, and just sell spices and slices to people.
I really thing this point should be addressed and that the devs should take steps to fix this issue and make gaming experience once again good for the Smuggling community.
I can see this only going one way, as more individuals start to farm faction points the price will only go down as they are all competing to make the most money, at the moment you can purchase a single point for 50 credits, how long will it be before they are worth 10 credits!!
Please discuss this matter.
