Yeah, those Hutt Fighters look sweet. But it's the YT and Lady Luck for me, thanks.

more 3rd person screenshots after the ship pictures. i hope the preferred method of play isn't 3rd person. i was really hoping cockpit view would be the way to go. if it plays like rogue squadron instead of the old x-wing or tie fighter games it's definately not going to keep me around.

I hope to god they've made it like the Xwing series and not the Rogue Squadron series, but I guess those of us that get to participate in beta will find out this september.
As to the ship that isn't shown - I don't think they're starting with a POS craft that everyone has. From what I've read, you go to a faction pilot trainer (be it Rebel, Imperial or Privateer) and you get your ship from them. I'd guess that a Rebel gets given a Z-95 Head Hunter, an Imp a Tie Fighter and the Privateer a Hutt light fighter.
I wonder what's instore for those that want to fly for a GCW faction, but also want to smuggle.. I hope when the time comes you can do both :/

The mixture of the two is more appealing that the 'either, or' that seems to be brewing.
But, i assume likely we will see cocpit view... Remember Wing Commander? Well, they have a ton of those guys.
I'm sorta thinking of it as Wing Commander: Privateer, where you can buy and upgrade your own personal ship.
