So,you are finally Novice Smuggler. Ofcourse,you want locked containers. BUT,you dont want to buy those at the bazaar's for 6k or spam outside Coronet Starport that you "ARE OPENING THEM FOR FREEEE!",you want to loot your containers... But,outside Coronet almost everyone spawnplace for different low-level mob's are camped...And you also want some pistol xp right? And hard cash? There is only one place for you mate: Kaadara,Naboo.
All around Kaadara there spawns Mummer's,Skaak's and even Mauler's (Note:Maulers are a bit hard if you arent skilled in a elite combat pro)
It would be a good thing if you have atleast Novice Pistoleer,and a good pistol with damage over 200 and speed below 2.5.
To start with,just run around the town of Kaadara. You will learn where the mob's spawn and theres plenty of the spawn places basicly all around the town. So even if one place is camped,you can just move on to another. And the person camping the spawn place wont stay there forever too...
Easiest way to deal with a Mummer is 1: Healthshot 2: Just an ordinary attack. Method number 1 takes quite alot of you action,so if you not have high Stamina,you might need to rest sometimes before battling the Mummers again. Skaaks however,are very easy. You just need to do an ordianry /attack and they die like flies.
When you loot something off an corpse,money or item,another NPC will spawn at the spawn place. If you dont loot anything,no NPC will spawn at the spawn location. So when a spawn location is "milked" and no NPC's spawn for a time,move on to the next spawn place,"milk" it and move on to the next,around the town.
Locked Containers drop pretty much off these NPC's. I can get maybe 3-5 of them in just 1 hour,its all about how fast you are. But,you will loot alot of cash after a few hours looting,and also some junk like: CDEF's,broken stuff,and Rebel/Imp orders transmission's. If you get all 4 of these parts like Reb transmission 1,2,3 and 4,you can assemble those and you will have Rebel order (or Imp). If you take this to an recrtuiter opposite of the faction,for example an Imperial Order to an Rebel Recruiter,you will get some cash,maybe like 5k. Just drag it off your inventory to the recrutier.
I have also looted alot of clothing,which I think is pretty good,rifle/pistol barrels etc. You can sell all of these stuff to junk dealers (for example there is one in Coronet cantina that buys basic weapons) for sometimes pretty decent cash. And ofcourse,you will get pretty much of pistol xp. I would say that you choose skills in Pistoleer or in Dirty Fighting three,Underworld is useless if you dont plan to sell FP alot.
I have also looted stuff for Loot Kits,which you can sell from 50-350k or use them in your own loot kit,but I would say that if you loot something like that,sell it. Money is always good. I got 3 parts for the loot kits in 1 day of looting...
I consider looting in this manner as a quite funny way to get: Items,money,locked containers,pistol xp and alot of fun
