Thread: Is there any difference between Master Smuggler and Fixer as far as buying/selling FP?

It's been over 10 months since I was Master Smuggler, so I was wondering if the 25% reduction in FP cost for faction things factored into buying faction points. I have some extra skillpoints, and since I'm a Smuggler now anyway, I figured since I do a lot of GCW stuff that the 10% discount was cool, and being able to buy/sell FP was something I could do on the side.

the 25% reduction only applies to when you buy perks, not faction.

And how does buying faction work? You can only buy it if you are under 500 FP or something? And what is the limit to how much you can purchase at a time?
