Or an underground channel or something.

Plus, is there a way to auto-join a channel when you login? I think more people would use the channels if there was a way to permanently join the channel.

I used to be a ranger and they had RIN, the Ranger Information Network. How about the Smuggler Information Network (SIN :wink

? Once you create/join a channel, you auto rejoin when you log in again.

If you make a channel and do not delete the tab before you log out you will auto make/rejoin the channel when you log on.

I tried doing this a few times and it never really took off. Now that user created channels are persistant however it might be worth a shot again.

I'd called my channel "KesselRun - The Smuggler Network" :-)

of course there is no way to limit membership of the channel to a specific profession. Maybe the channel could be private any you only get an invite when you give a moderator the secrete handshake :-)

Another smuggler only channel would be a "Blackmarket Auction Channel" Only Master Smugglers can view and invite people into it. For the serious smuggling of high end market items.
