Im a smuggler 2414 and Pistoleer 0101 and medic 2200
And I dont have any armour
Can I do Jabbas Palace with buffs only, or do I need armour and/or better skills, too?
Oh, and how much standing do I need with Jabba for this?

I did Jabba's with about that.... I did have some armor and only some brandy... a full set of buffs would have helped.
Missions are varied, some easy, a few hard depending on what else is around. Had one where the waypoint was under a Krayt Dragon. I canceled that one and retook it so the waypoint was somewhere else.

Yeah, with buffs it should be no problem. As a master pistoleer/smuggler I did it with no buffs in about 1.5 hours. The first time I did it I was just a marksman 1010 when I started... got wasted. Finished it up as a novice smuggler (no pistoleer) and didn't really have too much trouble. This was before buffs. And I didn't have any armor. Jabba's really wasn't designedto needbuffs. Neither was the Imp Themepark. In fact, I think doing those with buffs kinda takes away from the experience. But that's my take on most dungeons.

The hardest things you will fight are a Tusken Captain, and a Weak Mercenery. The Capt is a breeze...the Merc....yes, buffs will be a REALLY good idea.

I just did it with no buffs and no armor, Master Smuggler and pistoleer 0020, novice medic, but I also have a good pre-nerf Krayt FWG5. I did have to feign on the bounty hunter.
I stand corrected. I'll go with all you need is positive Jabba. I remembered grinding 1500 jabba faction to continue the themepark once, but that was because I beat down some pirate camp POI with a friend one day, and come to find out that burned my Jabba faction pretty heavily.

As a master pistoleer I ran through this with no problem and thats without buffs and stuff. These theme parks were made for people that were not all uber and stuff. So feign if needed but you should do alright... getting some ubese armor and if you are not into armor that much a few peices of padded can help out alot.
That aside though you should be going up the pistol tech line of pistoleer first IMO. It gives you nice protection and some good specials but whatever.

Unless it's changed recently all you need is positive jabba faction. I started it with 60, which i got by beating on valarians (sp?). I also did it unbuffed as TKA x/x/3/1. The merc was scarry though.

I believe you will need 1500 jabba faction.

I forget how much jabba faction I had when I began it. But I do know you can not do Jabba Theme Park with -5000 Jabba faction.
As far as doing the missions. I didnt have any armor. Didnt have and buffs, food, or drink. I was a Nov Pist/Nov Smugg with a sliced DX2. I did the missions just fine.
Oh yeah, also had a TKM friend come with me.

Heh...right after I did my character transfer to Starsider, and my first time playing SWG after about 4 months, I loaded up my weapons (which a friend had for me), donned my new set of armor (a gift), and headed out to Jabba's to begin the journey toward Force Sensative...(hey, I had nothing better to do)...
One quick note...when I said I had on armor, I mean I had on everything except the helmet. With the way my stats were set, I didn't have enough secondaries to put everything on, and it didn't even occur to me to get buffs (at the time, I couldn't afford them anyway)...and the last time I had played, buffs weren't really a big deal to have.
So, I get to the mission with the Tusken Captain, and all of a sudden I watch my Mind go south in a hurry. About 10 seconds in, I was down for the count...didn't even have time to hit FD...
It was highly frustrating watching him stroll toward me for the deathblow while I saw several players zoom by on swoops or speeders. I thought I might get lucky and he might aggro one of them...but it wasn't meant to be. Soon thereafter, I was standing up in Wayfar while one of my buddies laughed at me over Yahoo voice chat.
