Thread: Master Smuggler is confused about the FP trading system.

OK, So, right now, I am a Colonel in the Rebel Faction, and it seems that I am unable to buy or sell any kind of faction points. The recruter just gives me the "you've done enugh" speach, or "we're not interested" My problem is this: I want more rebel FP, but it seems I am unable to buy any. What is a smuggler to do?

You can only buy yourself up to I think it's 500 fp. This is why when you sell fp you have to buy/delegate/buy/delegate etc. If you want to build up your own fp you will have to buy/delegate to someone/ repeat until someone has the amount you need and then have them delegate it back.
Or just pay another smuggler to do it for you

Basically, they don't want you buying a ton of FP for yourself, then buying Faction Items and selling them.
So you can only buy as long as you already have LESS than 500 FP.
Then you /delegate, buy some more, /delegate, ....ad nauseum.
Now if you can find another Master Smuggler/Rebel Colonel... THEN you got some business going, but it is still expensive business.

In the back of the bar is a rebel recruiter.
RCS #1 wants 10,000 FP.
RCS #2 (assuming he has none to start with) has to buy 86 "allotments" of FP from the recruiter (for 860,000 credits).
Every allotment bought is 10,000 credits for 125 FP + 13 FP for the Cries of Alderaan bonus, so 138 FP total.
86 allotments x 138 FP per allotment = 11,868 FP
RCS #2 does a /delegate RCS #1 of 10,000 FP, but it costs him an extra 1,180 FP to "do the deal".
So RCS #1 can get 10,000 FP for 860K + whatever profit RCS#2 demands.
So assume it will cost you about 1 million credits to get 10K FP.

Also, the guy recieving the faction gets the Cries of Alderaan bonus.
