I am sure this has been suggested, but why cant we slice ship parts??? Would be nice to decrease mass or increase over all through put on an item.. What do you think

I totally agree. Ship components should be sliced, hell let us slice ships!!!

I would love my 92.2 engine that has like 20K mass to be sliced down like half of the mass or maybe the speed to be increased.. Lets get this into the Devs hands.. I want this Plus think of all the new business for smugglers and easy cash again

we could start a petition... lol
or we could cuase sorts of turmoil inside and outside of the game. We could be the bandits of SWG untill we get to slice stuff.
Stuff that needs to be clsiceable: banks, travel tickets(for continues use anywhere for free), ships components, ships, swoops and speeders,and droids and their components

at least they could have made it to where we could only slice our own ships, if nothing else. I mean, I dont know about you guys, but I want the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy.

Slicing weapons and armor to increase their performance is an invention of SOE for the smuggler profession. Most of the Falcon's modifications where installed as configured. I've seen the movies and read most of the books. Solo spent time in places like the Corporate Sector, Nar Shadda and Shug Ninx's spacebarn getting the equipment that made the Falcon so powerful (and so illegal) installed.
The biggest weapon I ever remember Han Solo modifying was his DL44. He filed the sight off to gain the half second on the draw from his holster.

This is something I brought up in Beta. OF COURSE WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO SLICE PARTS!!! Then again there should be a methond in which sliced components become unrelyable and finiky like the Falcon.

slicing kinda sucks as is.. and the devs wouldent want a positive influence comin in for the smugglers.. but hey, maybe they will let jedi use the force to alter the parts

not force sensitive, we have no connection to the force :/ i'm so bitter about the system, it could have been SO good

Smugglers should definatly get some kind of ability to modify thier ships! I am not sure if I would want to use this abilityas a means of income for us, I think that we can already make tons of money! But on the other handIts all about the money, after all Greed is good!
